Terrific shot, the swollen glands behind the eyes are oozing fluid indication of his musst condition. Is this shot taken on the other side of the reservoir accessible from the road that bifurcates from the road leading to Kanda hills?

Looks like the elephant was close to the vehicle. Did you shoot it at the wide end at 18 or 19mm? Thanks for sharing.

Nice image. Large tusker with evenly curved thick tusks. Thanks for sharing. SaktiWild

    Gajanan Bhai,

The tusker is in musth, although it appears to me that it might be healing now.
It may be aggressive or be showing complete indifference. You went so close to a tusker of the Himalayan foothills as because you could visualise that it belonged to 'indifferent' category or garner enough courage and went ahead. Could you see the mud bath in the lake?

    Kind regards,
    SaktiWild

Nice sighting of a big tusker. The raised feet looks nice. Liked the composition. Thanks for sharing.

Nice image... like the walking pose and wide compo.

the head structure of some corbett tuskers seems unique... the head is huge compared to the body size and the trunk is thick and appears shorter.

    The tusker looks disproportionately huge!

The elephant looks a little too off the normal color. May be you could try playing around with hue values and correct it.
