    Default Rhacophorus malabaricus

    Rhacophorus malabaricus | Amboli | July 2013

I don't think this frog needs any more introduction. The Malabar gliding frog or Malabar flying frog is one the most adorable frogs i have ever seen. This time I spent quality time learning about this frog and its life cycles. We also spent a good time in documenting the various stages of its life cycle.More pictures to follow.

I have made many images where the entire frog is seen, but this time, I wanted to try something different where I can show the frog & habitat.

Nice. The unusual composition works. I think the image has a yellowish tint (?) which you could correct if necessary.
Looking forward to the life cycle. You could post it as a full-length article in the natural history section, with a detailed note of your observations. It would be more convenient compared to separate threads.

Lovely colours and good details. Good to know that you could capture its full life cycle. Agree with Abhishek, you can post a full article in the Natural history section and it can also be included in the Newsletter with full details and images. Which is circulated outside forum in various institutes. Thanks for sharing.

Interesting angle. It gives me a view or perspective which I am not likely to see normally. The closeup makes its feet look fragile. Look forward to the detailed write up.

    Cheers,
