    Default Indian Pond Heron

Another encounter at S.G.N.P., it was initially quite far away from us, but later came in as close as about 15ft away from us and was posing for our cameras and later went off to catch some feed. This was the capture of that take off.

Lovely take off pose captured. You captured the right moment. Is the AF point on the body, as some more details in the head part would have been good. I feel a bit less space on the right (less of the stone) and some more space on the left would be nice. Thanks for sharing.

Yeah the Auto focus was at the centre and hence the details of the head got lost, by some amount, even I wanted some more space at he left, but unfortunately the frame ends over there, I miscalculated its take off pose by some extent

Looks like the wall was the centre of the original capture and top, right and bottom parts are cropped.

I guess the legs were at the centre, coz I had just moved the cam for changing to Spot metering and tried framing back ASAP to capture this moment, also losing the details of its head and beak
