You got it nicely through the thick vegetation in the foreground. The catch light looks nice. A more off-centered composition would have enhanced the image further. Why f11? A lower aperture and a lower ISO would have sufficed here. Thanks for sharing.

Nice to see this. The eye contact is good. Without the out of focus leaf kind of dissecting the bird, this image would have been very good. I am fine with the narrow aperture of f11 here, as it brings more of the vegetation into focus. The trick is to somehow find a composition where the bird is clearly visible with least amount of distractions. As we all know, in such dense vegetation something or the other will come infront of the lens and block the view. However, the moment you get it clear, it would be very good. So keep on trying. Look forward to more.
