Nice mid air pose captured. What was the shutter speed? I think a high shutter speed would have been good here to freeze the movement and get more details. Thanks for sharing.

poor early morning light overcast sky did not allow shutter speed to be any faster , the jump is too, is very difficult to focus as the bird is well hidden and jumps very fast suddenly. at times you can make out the flexing of the bird just prior to the jump.another picture
