Beautiful composition and lovely details even at a 40% crop.

A higher ISO (around 1000 or even more. The 60D is capable of decent pictures even at higher levels) and a slightly lower aperture (say F8) would throw up a higher shutter speed and more details. Wish it was on a natural perch

A very colourful bird. Nice eye contact. The clean background looks good. Agree with Rajan's comment. A rectangular framing with less space at the bottom would be nice. Thanks for sharing.
