    The whites need toning down here, as does the colour temperature. These beetles make interesting subjects, but one needs to keep his distance. I have seen the 'blister' injuries caused by these, they get very painful especially if untreated.

    Nice image. Agree the whites in the flower have lost details. The colour and the details on the beetle look nice. Seems the AF point is locked on the body. Thanks for sharing.

    Agree with the previous comments. Tough scene with the bright flower and black colour of the beetle. Were you handholding? A light mounted off axis or a diffuser will help. Thanks for sharing.
