    Lovely eye contact. Nice perch. Is this full frame? Some more space all around would have been good. Thanks for sharing.

    Nice eye contact. The image doesn't look sharp, probably because it is cropped more. Wider composition would look better as the habitat would be displayed well. Remember that the more you crop, the more you magnify any imperfections in the image. As such 500mm is a long focal length and needs adequate care while shooting.

    In closeups, it is natural for us to look for more details in the features etc. So unless you are shooting full frame or close to full frame and getting the critical focus on the eye, it is better not to crop large. Thanks for sharing.

    All of you are right..this photo is not full frame and was cropped about 60%...
    Thanks for your valuable comments and the next time i go to shoot i will try to follow your advice..
