    Default Pair of Blister Beetle

    Dear Friends,

Yeoor Hills in Thane is full of Blister Beetles in this season & its a pleasure to capture these colorful creatures in various moods. Attaching a pair of these beautiful insects perched on grass leaves bathed in dew drops.

    Hope you like it.

    EXIF : Av : 1/9, Tv : 1/200, ISO : 1600, FL : 135 mm, Cropped 17% for 16:9 format.

Nice image, I like the contrasty colours. I would try cropping out the top left corner and increasing the colour temperature very slightly.

Nice composition. Liked the display of the habitat, gives a nice feel of the monsoons. Agree about the top left corner. I think you could have tried a vertical here, that would have also helped to include the tips of the grass leaves at the bottom. Good details. Thanks for sharing.

I agree that a vertical composition would have been much better here. Due to the small size of the subjects in the frame, large portions of the frame look empty. The grass also looks cut off in the horizontal composition. Thanks for sharing.
