    Default Macro Landscapes

Shot this in Ooty while I was covering the Go Mad Festival in Fern Hills. The Idea was to portray an ethereal tiny landscape.

Canon EOS 5D Mark III, 100mm f/2.8 Macro USM (Manual Focussing)
    SS 1/500 (+0.3)
    f/2.8
    ISO 400

    Full Frame Image. Critiques welcome.

Are we not mad enough that we need these festivals to "Go Mad"?

You have created lot of tension in this image. Poor thing has grown as much as it can and can't find any more space above to grow.

Why not some more space at the bottom? the twigs entering into the frame at the left takes away some attention.

The white and green scheme works for me. I agree with Sabyasachi about the twigs at the left. The shallow DoF is interesting. Although f2.8 is usually not called for, one does get tempted to try those ultra-shallow DoFs once in a while .
