    Size - 33 cm
    [Nikon D7000 + Sigma 150-500 + Tripod]
    Location - CKBS, Kolkata
    Shot Taken on - 16th Nov, 13; 8:05am


    1/30 sec; f/6.3; ISO 640

    This looks better.these birds are superbly confident of their camouflage and with good reason.

    I agree with Roopak. Moving slightly to the right would have been better as from this position the head is away from the focal plane. The depth of field with f6.3 aperture is not sufficient to cover the body as well as head. Either a narrow aperture like f9 or moving the focus slightly behind would have also helped.     Hi

    The sturdy tripod is already making a huge difference to your photos, where there are a lot more details. Like Sabyasachi said, moving to the right along with a higher ISO would allow for a narrower aperture and a lot more details to this already lovely image.
