    Lovely image. Wonderful composition with one stretching its snake-like neck, the other holding normal 'S' like stance, and the habitat all around. Thanks for sharing.SaktiWild

    Better in terms of space. An off-centred compo would have been even better, but since the birds are facing opposite directions, it would be difficult.

    God pic kaustuv, a good example of how the invasive plant species will choke the life out of water bodies and the fauna which depend on it. these herons seem to be adapting to it. difficult to say if it works to their advantage, but the general effect will usually be negative..

    Thanks for the comments...the whole wetland is getting choked with this hyacinth and on the other had massive garbage dumping & construction activity....grim
