Nice image of the young Gharial in water. The underwater river bed looks beautiful. Some injury mark on its tail is visible, it appears the delicate reptile may not be in sound health. Even after release under captive breeding programme, the Gharial, which survives in clear flowing water stocked with fish, remains threatened in Corbett. Was this photographed near Gharial Point on Dhangari-Dhikala forest road? Thanks for sharing.SaktiWild
Dear Saktida, Affirmative, the shot was taken from Gharial point on Dhangari-Dhikala Road. Regards Debasis
Nice sighting. Agree with Saktipadaji, the clear water with rocks look nice. Thanks for sharing.
