Default Bharal ( Blue Sheep ) | Ladakh

Photographed in Hemis National Park at Ladakh( Rumbak Valley).
Since this was the breeding season for bharals this guy was constantly moving on the high rocky mountain and smelling each rock.

Nice behaviour captured. Liked the display of habitat. Agree with Saktipadaji, it is so sure footed on this steep slopes. What was the ISO and shutter speed? Is the AF point locked on the rock? Please check. Thanks for sharing.

Lovely composition of a rare animal. Agree with Mrudul on the focus lock on the rock. The angle adds of descent gives a sense of the difficulty of the terrain and the prowess of the animal to negotiate it.

Nice to see this image. It shows how surefooted this species is. How much of a crop is this? I would love to see a wider composition. Thanks for sharing. Cheers,Sabyasachi
