Pitter Patter Raindrops...
Was trying something abstract with the monsoon theme in mind, and came across this fallen leaf. Almost walked past it until i saw the beautiful colours it portrayed. What better way to show the monsoon than a fallen leaf posing as a water cup for the ground.

Lovely texture and colours. The water droplets give us an idea about the rains. It would have been great if the image plane was parallel to the leaf, so that the depth of field would have been sufficient for the top right corner. A narrow aperture would have also helped, but that would have reduced the shutter speed.
