    Default State Bird of Karnataka.....Indian Roller from Bandipur....

    We were on a safari in search of tigers and leopards.But the Indian roller is a colorful and elusive bird.I was very fortunate to shoot this at close quarters for my "55-250" lens.......

    Canon 400d,55-250IS,ISSO400,f5.6,1/125,slight crop
