    The Yunnan Nuthatch, a bird that was supposedly endemic to SW China, has been recorded in Arunachal Pradesh.

    Great news indeed to hear that a bird (Yunnan Nuthatch) which was thought to be endemic to SW China is found in Arunachal Pradesh. I am sure we will hear about more species from this region.

    Another bird from southeast Asia, the Mugimaki flycatcher, was recorded photographically from the Andamans a few months ago, and was verified by Tim Inskipp and others. However, I never found reliable articles or official publications of this record.
