Rise like a King
Dear Friends,
Very common fully grown Oriental Garden Lizard in a majestic pose. Loved the rising head & graceful seating on a stone in Tungareshwar forest, declaring not to be disturbed.
Canon 550D, 18-135mm Lens @ 135mm, ISO 200, Tv: 1/160, Av: f/5.6, 10% Crop.

Nice. The unconventional composition works well here. The tree trunk is slightly distracting, but would have been difficult to avoid. Can the highlights on the rock be recovered?

Nice pose, seems like in the Lion King movie. I liked the composition. Its good you got the tail in full. Agree about the tree, not much you could do about. Maybe you could have tried moving a bit more to the left, if possible. Thanks for sharing.

The shape of the rock has come out well. It gives an impression as if it is a massive rock with a big overhang. Slightly more space at the left would have strengthened the composition. Thanks for sharing.
