Nice. It is called a white-bellied sea eagle, although it is indeed one of the fish eagles. The wide frame is not necessary here, more space at the top would be better in my opinion. Is this near the JLR property?
This brings back memories of my two years in Karwar. The place has lots of white-bellied sea eagles. If you are anywhere near the sea at any time of day, you can see at least 2-3 of these soaring overhead. I had counted several nests too.

Lovely sharp image. I like the Casuarina trees in the background against the colour of the sky. Thanks for sharing.

Lovely image. I agree with Abhishek. The head is clearly lit and looks nice.

I have not been to this place. How do you reach there? May be some day I can see this place.
    Cheers,
    Sabyasachi

Thanks everybody.Sabyasachi, we drove from Dandeli wls across the western ghats , a distance of approximately 90km to Karwar from where they take you by ferry to to their resort. From Goa also ,it is about 100km.One can also access it from this direction by road.
