    Default Tiger in habitat

I had created this image in Bandhavgarh National Park. I wanted to show the habitat of the tiger. Most of the times people photograph tiger crossing the road, however that is not the true representation. Unlike lions in Africa who prefer the open plains, the habitat of tiger is in dense jungles. The tiger was visible only from one small opening. The light was low as a storm was approaching.

Canon EOS 1D Mark II, Canon EF 70-200 f2.8 L IS USM, EF 2xII, ISO 400, f5.6, 1/100, full frame

    Look forward to your comments.

    Cheers,

That perfectly shows the enviornment. Nice eye contact. A bit more space below than on the top would have added to the composition further.

I'm a fan of such pics because they have an air of mystery, that you are taking the viewer to a private place.
