    Got this today morning at Karnala. You may have to strain your eyes a bit to find it!
    Grasshopper from Mars I suppose. Know any sites for insect ID?
    Camera Model Name.....Canon PowerShot SX10 IS
    Shooting Mode.............Aperture-Priority AE
    Tv (Shutter Speed)......1/200
    Av (Aperture Value)......5.0
    ISO Speed...................200
    Focal Length................5.0 mm
    Flash .........................Off
    AF Range Mode............Super Macro
    Full frame. Played around a bit with brightness and contrast.

    Hi Abhishek,
    This image would have been better had you take it from a higher angle so that the leaf itself would have provided an uniform background. In this case one has to scrutinize the image to look for the hopper. Was a cleaner background possible from this level?

    Hi Abhishek,

    Its a good enviornment photograph. Perfectly camoflagued. As Bibhav has mentioned a higher angle would have been helpful to get a clearer view. you got any more with different profile?

    No "cleaner" BG was possible from this angle. I do have a few from the same side but from slightly higher angles. Let me take a look at them, I'll post them if they're good.
    This creature was quite fidgety, didn't manage many photos of him.

    Sorry, none of them seem to have an even BG... I have one taken from above, but I didn't find it too good... I can post it if you want to see it as a record image.

    Nice image Abhishek. Really difficult to focus this.

    I think there was no need of using Super Macro.
