A waterfall near Kabbinakad, Kodagu district. I made use of the 100mm to shoot a portion of the waterfall framed by foliage.
Canon 500D, Canon 100mm Macro USM
SS 1 sec
Av 32
ISO 100
Full frame
Tripod support
Thanks, C&C welcome.

Beautiful. The milky water flow looks nice. The vegetation on both sides frames it nicely. Just thinking how a vertical composition would have looked. Did you try? Thanks for sharing.
This gives an impression of flowing milk. The vegetation gives an impression of trying to hide prime jewels. Which tripod were you carrying? Thanks for sharing.
Cheers,

Mrudul: I don't think I clicked any verticals, because if I recall correctly there was a break in the waterfall just below this point, so I chose to isolate the upper part. I played around with the framing vegetation and the shutter speed.
Sabyasachi: I used a friend's tripod, not sure which one it was (a Vanguard I think). I have still not taken to carrying a full-sized tripod on treks ... one reason being there is always someone around with a spare tripod if I need it.
