I've seen these crawling around mainly during the Monsoons. If anyone can help identifying this insect, i'll be thankful. I'm told it packs in quite a sting.

Seeing it for the first time... Seems to be some kind of centipede... Not sure...
Long legged centipede. Don't know about this species, the similar ones in south America are Scutigera species. It's venomous. It's not an insect, it's from a family called the myriapods ("many-legs" in Greek). Closely related to the insect family.
Wish I would get to see these in real life...
