    It seems the light was very low. you have got SS of 1/6 even at ISO 1600 ( :O )

    If possible i would have used a narrower aperture but ur shutter speed was already low...

    I like the idea. However, the light seems to be very low. A narrow aperture like f11 or so in better light would be good. Look forward to more such experiments.

    Nice composition. The pattern formed by the drops is interesting. A narrow aperture would have really enhanced the image further.

    Agree with the comments. You could try this in better light. Even if it has not rained you can spray some water onto some leaves / flowers and shoot.
