    Nice sighting. Did you shoot through a wire mesh or something? Clicking a couple of seconds before this would have given better eye contact.

    Nice sighting. Fine details. Out of three species of Monitor Lizards found in West Bengal, Varanus flavescens (Yellow Monitor) is the rarest. The frontal portion (snout) is short and convex and looks different from those of V. salvator and V. benglensis. Thanks for sharing.SaktiWild
