    Default Leopard on tree

This is from our recent visit to Kabini. This leopard was uncomfortable on the tree and moved around a few times. Light was low as it was about 6.15pm. This is a frame grab from the C300 using extreme high ISOs. I loved the branches criss-crossing and framing the leopard. So composed with the leopard close to the top of the frame with the main branch it is resting on exiting the left top frame.

    Cheers,
    Sabyasachi

Nice pose captured. I only clicked a few images, as it was a bit far for me and also the light was bad. Liked the way it has rested one paw on the straight branch and one on the branch below . Thanks for sharing.

sitting comfortably on the place which belongs to him, like the way the tail is hanging, the green thing on the right foreground is little distracting, was it raining over there...Lovely shot yet to capture this beauty, TFS

Nice behaviour captured. The leopard is relaxing in its drawing room spreading its legs for optimising comfort.
It seems, leopards of Kabini have declared some particular tree(s) as their autonomous territory! Thanks for sharing.SaktiWild

Not wanting to give up his confidence and look clumsy, he seems to be convincing himself that he is well poised .

Just back from a very eventful trip to Kabini. This was more of a relaxing trip. Hence went on only 2 safari trips where I had the chance to do 6. But the number of sightings in these 2 were many, few rare when it was least expected. This made the trip very special. I will share some of the pictures from the trip shortly.

    Thanks
    Vijay
