    Default Aerial view of Bharathapuzha and its mouth.....

    Bharathapuzha is the longest river in Kerala.Originating from the Anamalais the river flows for about 210 kms and drains into the Arabian sea at Ponnani...

    Its good you could get a clear view of the river. Nearly the entire journey of the river till it meets the sea can be seen. Did you photograph this recently? Thanks for sharing.

    Thanks for your comments Roopakji....Its always nice to be with the birds and getting such an aerial view.Many a poets have written about the Bharathapuzha and its splendour.One even says that "the beauty of dames are enhanced by taking bath in the river daily before dawn!"....

    Many are inspired by this wonderful River and civilizations have survived along the banks.I wish I was a poet!!

    (also Roopakji I was literally alone with the birds.Only the air hostess was the disturbance!!There was only 12 passengers in the Air India Express Trivandrum-Calicut flight!)
