Spotted this activity during the Bhandup pumping station photowalk. Initially I thought that the butterfly was just lying on the leaf but close observation revealed that the beauty was actually laying eggs. It seemed as if the butterfly had laid eggs earlier and had came back to lay more eggs as the freshly laid eggs seemed different than the black tipped ones u see all around the leaf
