    Default Jackal

    Last sunday went out for Birding at outskirt of Bhopal City, While coming back just after sun set, I encountered with two jackal , Both of them were walking at a distance, could not able to frame both of them in single frame. Sighted for few moments.
    Canon 7D, 300 +2x Tc at f/7.1, 1/320 sec, Iso-1600, Exp bias -0.3, Cropped Image about 50 %

    Nice alert pose.The dirt track in the fore ground does add a certain visual interest to the composition.I wonder if a little straightening could also have added to the composition? Thanks for sharing.

    Nice to see a jackal in the grassland. Once they were numerous. Now they are rare, so it is a sighting to be celebrated. There is a pink cast to the image. I am sure next time you will get them closer. Thanks for sharing.

    Nice sighting. Its good you got it looking towards you. Good to know that jackals are active in that area. Thanks for sharing.

    Nice Habitat Shot... did u add additional sharpening in Post, i feel 50% of cropping is too much result in loss of some details in the image, i would have kept it the way it was shot and shown more of the Habitat.... TFS
