    Default Blue tailed bee eater

Shot in Jhirna range of the Corbett national park, earlier this May.

There was an entire colony and they nest in holes at ground level.

    Shot with the Nikon D 90, Nikkor 300 mm F4 + 1.4 TC, at 420 mm, ISO 320, 1/250 s - F/5.6

Good eye contact with fine details. Composition looks little tight for me.

Lovely perch and eye contact. Nice colours. April, May is there nesting period, and the male and female can be seen frequenting the nests in the holes to feed the young. Is this full frame? Thanks for sharing.
