    Default Infrared Photography: Water monitor

This is from our recent Sundarbans visit in Jan 2015. I was hoping against hope that will sight a tiger passing behind the launch. Nothing like that happened. However, because of that managed to sight this water monitor on a channel to our left. I decided to click a few Infrared images and this is one of them. I had a couple of shots of this water monitor but this is the only shot where there is a glint in the eye. In the other shots I have composed with the monitor more on the left, but this is the composition which looked more balanced.

Canon 5D Mark III (converted to IR), Canon EF 400mm f2.8 L IS USM, f16, 1/250, full frame, handheld. You can later compare the normal shots with this IR shot.
    Cheers,
    Sabyasachi

'Ignorance is bliss'. The expression and mood of a Dinosaur is captured in the infrared image of the Water Monitor. Looks deadly.

It surely looks deadly as Saktida has said with its tonugue flicking out. The shadows from the tree look nice. Good you could get nice light on the eye. Thanks for sharing.
