The water snowflake/ Kumud

Had a great experience spotting this beauty at Nuggikeri lake at Hubli, unfortunately the lake had steep slope all along and since I was with my family, I restrained myself from getting into the lake and wetting me/ dirtying my clothes(very important when parents and in laws are around ). This is the best Macro shot I could get from one of the points, again was shabby and slimy so couldnt get a good frame

A higher depth of field would have been better.

One should always be cautious while out on photography, either in the presence of inlaws or outlaws. On a serious note, A person was robbed near a small village while on a birding trip.
