Lovely image. The composition is superb. Its long and strong legs testify to its ability to move faster than human being on run, which a crocodile can not. Thanks for sharing. SaktiWild
Same water monitor, similar scene. However the impact of this image shot through a normal camera and the one created by me with an infrared camera evokes different feelings. This image looks pleasing with the colours. The shadows gives us an idea that this water monitor is in shore beneath mangroves and looking for food. The shadows also lend lot of depth to the image.
At times crocodiles do the raised walk like this, but these fellows can actually run fast like Saktipadaji has mentioned.
Nice compo . The feel and treatment look very different in the two images...
