    Default Sundarban: Mangroves II

This is a closeup of the mangroves posted earlier http://www.indiawilds.com/forums/showthread.php?16224
Here I have isolated one bunch of mangroves, so that the viewer can focus his/her attention on it.

Canon EOS 5D Mark III (infrared), EF 70-200 f2.8 L IS II USM lens with 2xII TC at focal length 235mm, f8, 1/100, full frame image.

The roots formation is very unique. In Sunderbans we get to see so many different root formations. The black and white treatment looks nice. Thanks for sharing.

Nice. However, I like the first one more as the high tide made its contribution therein. GARJAN is classified as a part of 'mangrove' within 'Tidal swamp forest'. Thanks for sharing. SaktiWild
