Default Plumbeous Water Redstart (Rhyacornis fuliginosa), Sattal, Feb '15

It has quite an interesting act of capitalising on its surrounding. Found around rocky rivers, streams as well as narrow watercourses to broad mountain torrents both inside and outside the forest, it often shakes its tail from side to side or up and down to render itself less conspicuous to predators against the background of moving and often turbulent water.

Lovely image of the female. Nice details. I like the two rows of white spots on wings. Thanks for sharing. SaktiWild

Such a cute little thing. I like the eye contact. The good thing is the catchlight in the eye. The bird is parallel to the camera, so the depth of field covers the bird. Thanks for sharing.

A bit more space around the bird in the frame (a little bit of zoom out) would have enhanced further this very cute image
