You should have used a narrower aperture here. although the eye is sharp, i feel the out of focus wings take away the punch

Do post Av and Tv details as well... I would have preferred a more side-on shot if possible.
Also see some shake, of course you have mentioned it was handheld...

I agree with the comments. I wish you could have got an image when the fellow was defecating. That would have done justice to the composition. Else, I would like more of eye contact.
