Crimson Sunbird
Goa is a haven for birds. We were staying at a lovely remodelled Portugese bungalow last Oct - Arco Iris. Right outside it is the Curtorim lake. Saw this marvellous specimen sipping nectar from a bottlebrush kind of tree by the side of the road outside the bungalow. Sip-a-raja indeed

Nice sighting of this colourful bird surrounded with bright red flowers. Liked the eye contact. Seems like there was a slight shake. Thanks for sharing.

I had missed this image as I was traveling. The eye contact is nice. Some more details on the bird would have been great. May be putting a hide, even a makeshift one, close to such a flowering plant would yield great results. Thanks for sharing.
