    Talking Sea Slug - Phidiana militaris

    This Phidiana militaris was found in a deep rockpool (comparatively), approx 5.0 - 6.0 feet deep, but the slug was found at around 2.0 feet. It was browsing on some hydroids and alga (Sargassum sp.).

    Rock pool, rocky substratum, Intertidal

    Locality: Ratnagiri, Maharashtra, India, Arabian Sea / Indian ocean
    13 December 2008,

    Great image. Only it looks a bit tight. I like the lighting here.
    Where exactly in Ratnagiri was this? Looks like a must visit place for me.

    Nice image. I wish the bright area on the right frame were not there. A bigger sized image would have been better.
