Woke up to the chirping of birds. Despite the noise of ACs in the morning. It was a few minutes before 5 am. Recorded with Sennheiser MKH 416 microphone and Sound Devices 702T recorder. Look forward to your comments.

Is that an adult..?? sounds like demand for breakfast... !!! you have managed to get such wonderful clarity of sound here- totally devoid of any human intrusion. Good one. Thanks for sharing it here- offers a few seconds of relief from the glaring sun, honking vehicles and other city sounds.
I was bleary eyed. I managed to find the door and open it and just aimed the microphone in the direction of the sounds. Didn't see any birds either because it was dark or because I was half asleep. The only thing I was able to see was the indicators blinking in my Sound Devices recorder.
Wonderful clarity. It sounds like the spring-summer morning call of Shama (Copsychus malabaricus)- liquid melody flowing out with shrill tone at the end, not that of Magpie Robin.
Please enlighten me, if I am wrong.
Thanks for sharing.SaktiWild
