    Asian Openbill Stork------ In Bengali it is called as "Samuk-Khol"......It is the bird of rural Bengal, widely found in the swampy areas and agricultural fields.

    It is a common bird. Good that the bird is flying towards you. The open beak is clearly seen. It is not easy to click with a 250mm lens. Nevertheless, waiting at one spot can often result in close sightings and hence more details in the image. Thanks for sharing.
