    Nice portrait. Liked the eye contact. Was there another monkey to the right? I tried to make a bit tighter vertical framing to remove the bright spot on the left and the hint of another monkey(?) on the right. Thanks for sharing.

    Nice close up. Good details.
    Such striking eyes...soul searching, but will find none.

    Beautiful creature. Benevolent eyes. In the original post the highlights of the canopy was dominating. It is not easy to get a pleasing image with so many bright highlights in the canopy. However, working with various focal lengths, distance to the subject and composition, one can find a nice balance. I agree that the hint of another monkey/tail at the back was distracting. I would love to see the uncropped version of the image as captured to see it surroundings. Did you create a wide angle version with the habitat? Thanks for sharing.
    Cheers,

    Lovely close-up. Pensive mood, but this is natural expression of this shy langur. Except for the black hair on the forehead, the structure of the black face of Capped Langur and Golden Langur looks similar.

    Samrat Bhai,
    If you have gone to the Bhutan side of Manas River, you might have seen Golden Langur. It perches very high on trees.
    Thanks for sharing and taking us to Manas. Kind regards,

    Thank you Sandipan.
    @Mrudul Ji
    The tail partly visible at the right side of the original picture was that of the capped langur of the picture itself. The difference between the rhythm of the picture before cropping and that after cropping is very much obvious and it certainly has enhanced its beauty. Thank you very much for your kind effort.
    @Sabyasachi da
    Thank you very much for your comments.. I took another shot of the langur with a wider view, and will post it some other time.
    @Shaktida
    I did not go to the Bhutan side of the Manas: but I had a glimpse of the golden langur at the Royal Manas from the Mathanguri FRH across Beki river. It makes me feel great to know that these pictures are exciting your bygone-day's memories of Manas. Thank you so much!
