The Elusive lady love of the Kabini Leopard
The female of the mating pair prudently kept herself hidden in the foliage deep in the forest barely visible through the mist that refused to be dispelled by the rising sun A couple of times we caught her eying us surreptitiously through the branches.Nikon 7100+150-600mm F/8 ISO 1600 1/500s Kabini May morning 2015.

Nice pose. Good eye contact. Was the male leopard also close by? It would have been one in a life time experience to see them mating, maybe next time. Thanks for sharing.
