    We came across this Spotted owl in one of the canals that were being renovated in the outskirts of Benglaru.MAY 2015 morning hours Nikon 7100+150-600mm 1/320s F/8 ISO800

    Interesting how it has found and made a home out of an unused canal wall. As they say nature reclaims dilapidated structures. The yellow eye is striking. How did you find it?

    Nice finding. I liked the stare. The eyes kind of drill into you. Were you photographing from a car? Thanks for sharing.

    Thanks everybody. Sabyasachi, we had deliberately taken an offtrack route as we had been informed that the scrub lands around was full of bird activity.This particular canal which was a massive one ,according to any standards, was disused and falling apart.Vegetation was growing out along the sides. The owl was sitting right across on the opp side.The eyes were what gave it away.
