Default Cattle egret with a catch..

Aahh..Monsoon has finally made it's spectacular entry. With lush green grass teaming with grasshoppers and other insects carpeting the campus floor, birds are having a ball!!

A natural action nicely captured at right moment. I like the eyes and the bill. Thanks for sharing. SaktiWild

A big catch. You captured the right moment. Nice composition. There seems to be some loss of details. Is this a crop? Thanks for sharing.

I agree with the previous comments. In bird photography, even 500mm can be less. Since one can sight many cattle egrets, it is better to slowly move close to a bird and observe for a long time. That will help in observing and capturing action like this without much cropping. Thanks for sharing.

    Cheers,
