    Zitting Cisticola
A bird of the grassland, reed-bedsnear marshes, ditches and standing cereal crops. It's call 'zit-zit-zit' sounds similar to a barber's scissors. It's flight is distinctive as the bird when flushed moves upwards in a zig zag fashion before disappearing into the grass again!

Nice perch and good eye contact. The clean background adds to the composition. Some more details would have enhanced the composition further. Thanks for sharing.

The bird looks very velvetty.. if at all there is a word like that .... nicely captured picture. There seems to be some noise possibly due to the high ISO and crop. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for comments...:-) These birds are pretty agile and just does't stay at one place for more few seconds :-) Also, it was pretty late in the evening, thus the light condition wasn't that good either and I had to bump up the ISO!

The eye contact and composition is fine. In low light with a lower shutter speed, using any kind of support like monopod or tripod would help in getter better details in the image. Thanks for sharing.
