Default I am Scaly - Munia

Scaly-breasted Munia form flocks of as many as 100 birds. Individuals communicate with calls that include a short whistle, variations of kitty-kitty-kitty, and a sharp chipping alarm note. They feed mainly on seeds and are widely found in the grassland and wetlands.

Nice to could photograph while it was feeding. Liked the patterns made by the stalk. Did you try a vertical composition? I feel with the vertical grass stalks, a vertical composition too would have looked good. Thanks for sharing.

Nice.Like the eye contact and display of the birds feeding habits.the bill structure shows what it is meant for. it is a lovely sight to see them fly in groups and bombarding the paddy fields.
