    Photographed at Bangalore outskirts, First time i photographed this species and hoping to photograph more.

    Nikon D7100, NIKON 200-500 F5.6 E ED VR.

    Nice one Sucheth...looks like a squirrel. i always wanted to get an image of this bird hovering.. seen it many times but never got a decent pic.

    Nice sighting with a kill. Good you got the eye in clear. You could have tried an off-centered composition. Thanks for sharing.

    Mostly I found hovering or perched on transmission lines .Nice to see with kill .Thanks

    Good that you got eye contact. I like the red eyes of this species. Did you click from the car? I guess it caught a squirrel. Thanks for sharing.

    @Roopak and Sabyasachi : The kill was Rat Kill not squirrel.... I was not in car but on foot, i was there till it completed its breakfast and then flew away.
