I remember commenting on this image before the software issue resulted in the posts getting deleted.

The eye contact is good. The bird is in shade. The focus is on the leaf at the right lower part of the frame so the lower part of the body is also covered by depth of field. I feel if you would have aimed to focus on the middle part of the bird then the head and tail would have got covered by the depth of field. Thanks for sharing.
