    Nice. Tufted grey langur (S priam) which normally occurs in this area of the wayanad WLS. To the north west in thirunelli and brahmagiri we see both the tufted and the black footed grey langur.

    Nice mood captured. Seems the light was low. The blacks on the ear seem to be sightly underexposed, you can recover in post processing. Is this a full frame image? Thanks for sharing.

    I agree with the previous comments that for identification it is important to see the hands and feet. A lot of people, especially in the internet era like closeups because they are viewing in a small screen. Once you print the image big, then you would start yearning for more of the animal and its habitat.
