    lovely colours... its a lovely bird... nice click
    I feel a bit more feather detail can be extracted by reducing the saturation.

    I think the Golden Oriole is quite difficult to spot. You can crop the picture from the left a bit where there is small distraction. Nice sharp shot.

    I got the following shooting details from your image.

    ISO 200, 180 mm, f9, 1/125sec.

    It seems you did a big crop as a result there is an impact on the image quality.

    It is difficult to get a clean view of the Oriole as they don't stay at a place for too long. I would say, it is a great first attempt in a digital SLR.
